is the short version of the term "dimethyl sulfoxide".
DMSO was first discovered in Russia in 1866 and is undoubtedly
one of the most remarkable compounds to be discovered during
the past century. DMSO and its medical uses have been the subject
of four international conferences. Dimethyl sulfoxide is a wood
pulp derivative common to the paper industry. It is quickly
absorbed and distributed throughout living tissue. DMSO has
